A quick DIY cleaning solution:
To make your solution, mix 3 teaspoons of any colourless washing up liquid, ¼ cup of vinegar and ¼ cup of liquid ammonia in 7 litre of water.
Another solution for carpet cleaning; peel and grate 3-4 potatoes add about 3 litre of water and leave for 2-3 hours. Use the sieve to filter the water, and clean your carpet with this solution using a soft brush.

The most common stains in household carpets
Do you have stains from red wine, various juices, herbs and tomato? They will disappear if you gently rub it with pure lemon juice, using soft cloth.
Did you spill a hot drink such as tea, coffee or hot chocolate? This could be treated with 1 litre of water and 1 tea spoon of glycerin. Once made, gently rub the spot, and then remove the remainder of the spill with soapy water.
To remove chewing gum form your carpet, first freeze it using an ice bag, then gently scrub it off with knife and wash the spot with soapy water.
A fresh carpet
To remove odours, just spray your carpet with mixture of table vinegar and water at a concentration of 1:4. If you prefer to use household chemicals, we would recommend cleaning your carpet with liquid soap foam.
Spread the foam on your carpet and leave for few minutes. Then clean the foam using a soft brush.
