Liverpool Vision Update on Shanghai Expo 2010

A bitterly cold Feb evening on the Liverpool Waterfront didn’t stem the enthusiasm of about 35 plus attendees to hear Mike Taylor the Director of Enterprise and Investment for Liverpool Vision give a very interesting and informative presentation and insight into the message that Liverpool is promoting at the World Expo in Shanghai , where Liverpool is the only UK city to have a dedicated presence.

The event was sponsored by Austin-Smith: Lord LLP (ASL) in their offices in the Port of Liverpool Building on the Pier Head.

Maggie Mullan the Liverpool Chairman and senior partner in ASL, together with her team hosted the event, making all who attended feel very welcome with canapés and refreshments.

Neil Griffiths RD for the North West commented, “the excellent feedback from the attendees after the event proved that  this type of event with topical and interesting speakers is proving very popular in the North West and we would be looking to do more of the same in the future”.
