West Wales Branch inaugural dinner

After several previous abortive attempts over many years, FBE now has a West Wales Branch based in swansea. It's been a difficult birth, but as a result of the increased construction activity throughout West Wales, there is at last the impetus & enthusiasm to form the West Wales Branch.

The inaugural dinner took place at the Village Hotel on Friday 30 January, supported by over 150 members & guests. All were superbly entertained by an Italian comedian, showing an uncanny  resemblance to the very funny Rod Woodward.

The backbone of the committee is now in place, with chair Michelle Davies confident of moving forward with growing membership.

Recognition should be given to Cambria Branch members Simon Reynolds, Richard Hinton & Howard Gadd for their considerable support in assisting the establishment of the branch.
