BSEC North Networking Breakfast

National Chairman, Phil Laycock, reported there were more than 120 attendees at FBE's recent networking breakfast held at the Building Schools Conference in Liverpool.

John Young gave us an update on the economy from both a National and a North West perspective. He was realistic but not especially optimistic about the next 12 months trading in the Property and Construction sectors.

It will be a tough 12 months and I think the feeling in the room was that twice as much work for half the margin was probably the sort of attitude required in order to be successful.

Ron Rampling project Director at LCC presented on the imminent release of Liverpool BSF Wave 6 which was very much of interest to the Liverpool members in the audience.
