Overview
The Forum for the Built Environment is the Premier Business Generation and Networking Organisation for the property and construction industries. It achieves this by holding first-class events with world-class speakers combined with a welcoming social scene enabling people to network successfully.
FBE is supported by a number of industry-leading businesses including Gleeds, WYG, Laycock Williams, Kier and many others who recognise the need for a multi-discipline networking organisation that connects people from across the industry.
The Forum for the Built Environment will be a unified voice for the industry drawing on expertise and opinion from across all built environment, property and construction-related disciplines and services.
Members
FBE currently has over 2,000 members nationwide from a wide variety of backgrounds - multinational construction companies, cost consultants, architects and designers, property developers, engineers, planners and consultants.
Spokespeople
As a member-funded organisation FBE is independent from any corporate or government body. This means its spokespeople are at liberty to share their real opinions without fear of recrimination from clients or funding committees. FBE members are experienced professionals who offer valuable insight on all built environment-related topics including; regulations (building / site / planning), sustainability and environmental issues, skilled labour shortages, market trends, the Olympics, major developments, planning, urban regeneration, materials, the housing crisis, supply chain and more.
