Three Regional Directors required

(please note: these positions are voluntary and open to members of fbe)

The NMC has decided to split both the South East and South West regions into three and two regions respectively:

The South East becomes three separate regions:

1. South East consisting of the counties of Kent and East Sussex
2. Southern consisting of the counties of West Sussex, Surrey and Hampshire
3. Thames Valley covering the counties Berkshire, Buckinghamshire and Oxfordshire

The exception being the various parts of counties that fall within the inner circle of the M25 that form part of the London Region.

The South West becomes two separate regions:

1. South West consisting of the counties of Devon, Cornwall and Dorset
2. Western covering the counties of Somerset, City of Bristol, Gloucestershire and Wiltshire

The names given to the regions are subject to verification at a later date.

Regional Directors are required for each of the three 'South East' regions and a Regional Director is required for the new 'South West' region. Regional Director Tom Holbrow, who previously looked after the South West Region will continue to look after the new 'Western' regionand will oversee the South West Region in the interim period.
